How to Get to Salamanca from Madrid

This city is beautiful and a great day trip or places to visit for a longer stay. From Madrid and Madrid airport there are several cheap ways to Salamanca.

One of the popular ways to get to Spain is by plane into either Madrid or Barcelona and from both of these destinations it is fairly easy to get to Salamanca.

The most common way of coming to Salamanca is through Madrid. If you arrive at Madrid-Barajas airport, to get to the bus or railway station, you can take one of the following:

There is an Express Bus Service from Madrid-Barajas Airport to Salamanca. There are many daily buses from the “Estación de Autobuses Sur – Méndez Álvaro” to Salamanca.

How to Get to Salamanca by Taxi:

Go to the Chamartín railway station: or the Sur– Méndez Álvaro Bus Station.

To go from Madrid-Barajas Airport to the Sur – Méndez Álvaro Bus Station: take line 8 to “Nuevos Ministerios”, then change to line 6 and get off at the bus station.
To go from Madrid-Barajas Airport to Chamartín railway station: take line 8 to “Nuevos Ministerios”, then change to line 10 and get off at Chamartín.
