The course is also popular because you are able to work through it at whatever pace suits your personal circumstances and learning style. All graduates of this course will also have access to our unique career support services for the duration of their EFL teaching career.

Upon completion of the application process we will send you an email that contains the log-in details you will need to gain access to your personal, restricted area of our online course system. Once you have logged-in to the system you can then access the course materials which can be studied online or downloaded to your personal computer, tablet or smartphone.

When you are confident that you have absorbed the information contained in the first unit, your understanding of the materials will be assessed before you move on to the next section. Once you have successfully completed all the course units, you will graduate from the course and receive your 120-hour online TEFL certificate.

TEFL Course Aims

Our 120-hour online TEFL course provides you with a comprehensive introduction to the world of Teaching English as a Foreign Language. Upon completion of the course you should have developed a good working knowledge of the English grammar system, as well as a variety of useful skills and techniques that will help you to deliver interesting and well constructed lessons in the classroom.

TEFL Course Content

The 120-hour online TEFL course focuses on two different areas. Around half of the course looks at subjects related to the teaching skills that you will need in the classroom, including teaching theories and methodologies, classroom management, lesson planning and how to test and evaluate your students’ progress. The rest of the materials focus on the subject of language awareness; this includes the most important areas of English grammar such as the parts of speech and the tense system, as well as other subjects such as pronunciation.

This variety of subjects has been further divided into twenty separate units that are specifically designed to gradually build your understanding, without overwhelming you with too much information. Thanks to this design, you should be able to work through the course materials at whatever pace you feel comfortable with.
