A solid education is the key to a brighter future for those marginalized and living in a developing nation without additional support. This program aims to build a strong platform for children to thrive and prosper, providing an education-based after school program to support at risk children and encourage their love for learning.

Based in the beautiful Nicaraguan city of Granada, volunteers will provide essential support to children in a variety of subjects, including English. By providing support and encouragement, students have a much improved chance of learning and staying in the education system for longer. Sometimes all it takes is one mentor to show an avid interest in a student for them to thrive – be that mentor and help to improves lives!

Goals of this Project:

  • Provide teaching support to children in Granada
  • Improve the future prospects of some of Nicaragua’s most impoverished children, and help them to break the poverty cycle
  • Enable inter-cultural exchange which benefits both students and international volunteers alike.
  • Keep children in education for longer by supporting their needs
