We are looking for a dynamic person with knowledge and experience of watersports, in particular sailing. The successful individual will also be able to demonstrate high standards of communication, organisation and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering activity sessions;
  • Beach management of sailing, dragon boats, kayaks, canoes and rescue boat fleet;
  • Supporting the day-to-day running of a busy watersports department;
  • Committing to the highest customer service;
  • Focusing on the centre’s quality of delivery, training, equipment, safety and base maintenance;
  • Monitoring and observing of AIGLs, providing timely, constructive feedback;
  • Maintaining high levels of safety;
  • Training of Watersports Instructors

What we are looking for:

You will need to hold the RYA Dinghy Instructor qualification. We look for applications from people who can demonstrate energy, enthusiasm and the ability to relate to young people.

This role is particularly great for anyone looking to start their career in the outdoor industry, searching for a career break or a rewarding Gap Year project or wishing to develop your existing sailing awards. You'll pick up numerous transferable skills for your CV including group communication, confidence, resourcefulness and how to handle situations as they arise.
