Volunteering on a Public Health project is a fantastic and rewarding experience and is also a great addition to your CV or university application. Whether you're a university hopeful, studying for a degree in medicine or healthcare, or a qualified medical practitioner you will have in important role to play.

Public Health projects are predominantly outreach based; volunteers are involved in visiting local communities and institutions, such as schools and orphanages, to promote health and physical well-being. You will assist with general health tests, such as blood pressure and BMI, screen for common diseases, treat minor wounds and provide education about general health issues.

Qualified public health professionals are keen to help you have a worthwhile experience with them, and are grateful of your help in their drive to reach out to as many poor communities as they can.
