The aims of this project involve the conservation and reintroduction of various species of wildlife, including turtles, crocodiles and iguanas. We are also involved in biodiversity studies. In recognition of our commitment to conservation the project has been entrusted to manage a section of coastline stretching 24 Km.

Volunteers take part in a wide variety of activities, including:

- Turtle conservation: Volunteers take part in beach patrols, monitor nests and release hatchlings. Other duties including cleaning tanks and looking after the well-being of adult turtles.

- Assisting at a crocodile park: Volunteers visit La Colorado Crocodile Park once a week to help with maintaining the centre's facilities.

- Caring for iguanas: Volunteers assist with caring for baby and adult iguanas and maintain their enclosures.

- Biodiversity studies: Volunteers help with monitoring wildlife in the nearby estuary and lagoon through observational surveys and trap cameras.
