Help to encourage children to learn and grow creatively. Apart from teaching them language and communication skills, you have a unique opportunity to sow seeds at this tender age from which they stand to benefit for years to come. As you spend time teaching the local children, you will be embraced by and become an important part of the local community.

The Kindergarten offers care and education to children 4/5 years old from the poor villages in and around the area and they will be very excited to see you. The kindergarten is like any other throughout the world; the children prefer to play and have fun more than to be formally “taught” thus making it your responsibility to get them enthusiastic about coming to school and learning.

Your work will mostly be focused around assisting the kindergarten teachers in teaching the children basic English words and phrases through fun activities like songs and games.

You may also be asked to provide assistance to the Care Centre Manager to look after the children. By slowly building their confidence in language and communication you will place the foundations for a lifelong love and curiosity of learning, which will help them in many ways in their future.

The time spent with the local community and children will prove to be a highly rewarding opportunity for you, knowing just how great your impact was.

You'll work for about 10 hours a week Monday to Friday giving the weekend free to explore. Your morning will be at the kindergarten from 9:30am to approx 11:30 am and your afternoon will be used to prepare your work for the coming days.
