To apply you will need to be aged 18 years or above at the time of joining the program. Everyone is welcome to apply and a lot of pre-med, medical students, graduates and general people looking to help can apply to join these programs. If you are looking to volunteer in a skilled role (for example as a doctor), you will need to provide certificates and your level of experience.

The location of projects can vary, sometimes you might be working on outreach programs in the capital city - Nairobi. As a volunteer you will be able to help people in need, there are medical programs, clinics and drop in centres around Nairobi where you can help some of the needy people in the country.

Placements will vary from day to day, sometimes you might be assisting experienced doctors or helping patients, conducting tests, research or generally cleaning and assisting. Some days you  might need to wake up early to travel to clinics and work throughout the day. It's not all work though, there will be a lot of time to relax and socialize with other international volunteers.
