Why Stay in a Hostel

Backpacker hostels are located throughout Ireland and no matter what your budget you can find somewhere to match your interests. Even if you have a big budget it can still be a lot of fun to stay a hostel - they are generally more fun than traditional hotels and usually include the same type of facilities. Most hostels are excellent with modern facilities with bars, cafes and lounges. You will meet people from all of the world and have a lot of fun as most hostels have social areas.

 

Cost

Accommodation in Ireland isn't cheap, but hostels are generally a fraction of the price of hotels. You can choose from small independent hostels right up to large chains of backpacker hostels. Expect to pay between £10-£30 per night for a bed in a dorm. Private rooms are usually available at a higher cost. Most hostels also have kicthen facilities so this helps to keep costs down.
