A Guide to Interning in Tanzania
There are numerous work placements offering practical training for students in such areas as education, engineering, medicine, health, social work, business, arts, design, music, theatre, advertising, web site design, marketing, tourism and hotel management. Placements can be made to suite your specified sector of study, and all internships are in English.
The typical length of an internship is between 1 to 3 months, but shorter and longer programs can be arranged. Start and end dates are dependent upon the participant.
Some international companies might charge fees to arrange placements and put together a package which includes accommodation, house cleaning, security, 24 hour support, breakfast and dinner, orientation and airport transfers. Language courses, Tanzania tours and safaris, Kilimanjaro climbs and many other programs can be arranged for an additional price.
