A Guide to Teaching English in Madrid
Madrid is one of the most popular places to teach English in Spain and it is easy to see why. There are lots of interesting and historical places to visit and also endless bars, cafes, restaurants and clubs to keep you busy at night.
Living and working in Madrid as an English teacher is an incredible experience. We recommend trying the local cuisine like paella and also trying to watch a football game which is one of the local passions.
Requirements
You can work in Madrid at language schools or giving private lessons. Most language schools will require a formal TEFL certification course, some experience whilst some might require you to speak basic Spanish. If you don't know any of the local language you might want to combine experiences and book a Spanish course in Madrid.
