Corfu Donkey Rescue
Corfu Donkey Rescue do everything possible to give the donkeys a peaceful life and a retirement in dignity. They bought a piece of land that is beautifully located in the nature, surrounded by olive trees and the mountains of Corfu. They accept international volunteers all year round.
The Ark
Austrian actress Gabrielle Jacoby and a group of like minded animal lovers, both Greeks and foreigners, founded the Ark in 1997. It was formed primarily to alleviate the suffering of stray and abandoned animals on the island of Corfu. The Ark is a registered charity and rely entirely on volunteers and the generosity of members and the public for income, which comes mainly from donations and fund raising activities.
Requirements
For most positions in Corfu, and when volunteering in Greece participants usually need to be aged 17+. Children are eligible if participanting with a group or family.
