Its vision is to transform the nation by providing quality education and adequate practise materials in key three areas deemed important today: Science, Computer, and English.
Aakriti Foundation Nepal (AFN) started researching about the problems created by lack of quality education in Nepalese public schools and found out that this is one of the leading reasons behind Nepal’s sluggish development. Quality education is a prerequisite for opportunity & employment. Its importance is reiterated by the fact that lack of education has resulted in 25.2 % of the population living under poverty line.
To combat this problem, the president of Aakriti Foundation Nepal proposed a mother project, Project: Educate Nepal (PEN) which aims to provide managed science lab, computer lab and English materials to all public schools. After the provision of materials, AFN will also conduct training sessions and classes for teachers and students.
