Requirements

Usually companies will require you to be:
Aged 18+
Fluent or native English speaker
Completed High School
TEFL qualified (this is sometimes included in the internship package)
Be physically and mentally fit
Be adaptable, patient, caring and flexible
Culturally sensitive and respectful

No previous teaching experience is usually required but if you have any, this is a bonus. Some companies offer TEFL internships for non native speakers and also for people without a degree depending on the destination.
