The Académie Charpentier has been the private School of Applied Arts for more than 70 years where future Interior Designers and Art Directors are trained. True to its original values: creativity, humanity, contemporaneity, and enjoying a strong artistic imprint, it has remained a human scale institution.
In 1958, it inherited the Académie de la Grande Chaumière, a hub of creative expression and plastic experimentation. The new Head of the Académie Charpentier has been supporting its exploratory work in the field of Applied Arts, while being part of modernity.
