The courses are run from our IB World School centre and our summer school students are able to participate in a wide range of academic, sporting and leisure activities.
Agora Lledó International Summer School is a private school located in Castellón, on the Mediterranean coast, which provides an innovative and student focused educational programme. In 2011 the school launched the renowned International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, preparing our senior students for entry to the most prestigious universities around the world.
The main school’s facilities include a specialist music centre and a multi-purpose sports complex with a semi-Olympic swimming pool, football pitches and basketball, tennis and padel courts. Agora Lledó International School is situated in one of the most beautiful areas of the Mediterranean coast in a warm and sunny climate, surrounded by orange groves, in buildings designed to promote peaceful academic study and the general well-being of all our students.
Since the inauguration of the school in 2001 thousands of students have enjoyed our summer school programmes.
The Agora Lledó Summer School program offers a truly international experience, prioritising the learning of English or Spanish and giving our students the confidence to integrate with the international community. We devote 29 hours a week to the study of the chosen language: English or Spanish. All the subjects, including literature, mathematics, science, arts, sports, geography, history or drama, are delivered English or Spanish.
In addition to their academic classes, our pupils participate in a wide range of sporting activities including swimming, snorkelling, paddle boarding, hiking and cycling, and on two days each week the students are able to participate in full day-trips. During these excursions, the students enjoy Castellon’s local beaches and sailing club, parks and nature reserves and have the opportunity to visit the nearby city of Valencia with its extensive cultural, historic and leisure opportunities.
