History
Set up in 1948 AIESEC was conceived to try and help societies understand each other by providing students with the chance to live and work abroad - by doing so they would go through a powerful development experience which will provide them with high level skills and a global understanding that would serve them for the rest of their lives.
Today AIESEC has 23,000 members in 1000 universities in 100 countries and territories across the globe. AIESEC realises 5000 exchanges and runs 350 conferences a year together with our 3500 partners. Having existed for 60 years we now have 1,000,000 alumni, but we continue to grow. Most recently we have expanded into Iran and we are preparing to expand into Algeria.

Work Abroad!
AIESEC has been organising placements for students and recent graduates for over 60 years! We can offer you voluntary and paid work placements in professional organisations, schools and charities for a period of 2-18 months across our network of over 100 countries!
