Our community school located in Jaipur (The pink city) has a craving need of volunteers to teach the kids and help them finishing their syllabus on time to save their year. The school serves the local poor kids of the society. All the parents of the kids are from economical weaker section and mostly daily wage earners like rickshaw drivers labours etc.
The school has a very less number of teachers due to the lack of funds and resources. We are working with different kind of schools but with same situation. The kids are aged around 3-15 years of age and from 01st to 7th standard. Volunteers are much needed to operate the school for another year.
Volunteers work as a helping hand to the school and teachers to teach English, Math, Science and Geography. Sometimes sports and art & craft are also required to initiate by the volunteers to make the education fun and more learning. The children are far away from toys, enjoyment and general children fantasies so volunteer shares their feelings, love and affection to feel them wanted and lovable. The kids are adorable and needs attention.
Volunteers must understand English and they will learn some Hindi in their daily Hindi sessions with us that will make you more comfortable with the kids. Volunteer must be comfortable with children and teaching. The more love you show and share the more attention and love you get, that's what we are looking for.
