The power of the wind was so strong that it decimated the beautiful islands causing extensive damage to homes, schools, community facilities, telecommunications and utilities.
We have now launched a program to bring help and hope to impacted children on the island of Tortola. We are beginning work to help damaged education facilities get up and running as soon as possible.
To date, our teams’ efforts have been focused towards assisting disaster-impacted schools on the island of Tortola.
Requirements
We cannot accept volunteers under the age of 16. 16 and 17 year olds are able to Day Volunteer with us but must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Volunteers 18+ can stay on our base as Residential Volunteers.
