We are a not-for-profit organization, regulated by a highly experienced and capable Board of Trustees, chaired by Her Royal Highness Princess Sarvath El Hassan. The school was established with the aim of providing a bilingual education which could meet the highest international standards, whilst remaining firmly rooted in the Arab heritage and culture.
We pride ourselves on putting the child at the centre of the decision-making process and the strong links we form with our parents, many of whom were here as boys and girls themselves. They understand our aspirational culture and how committed our staff are to seeing that their children, of whatever ability, talent or interest, do better at ABS than they would elsewhere.
The school is on a remarkable site, offering a spectacular edifice as you approach Amman, and boasts some excellent facilities. Our main asset, however, is our staff of dedicated professional teachers, administrators and support staff who make up part of the ABS family. Alongside the academic, we strive to ensure that the pupils’ wellbeing and co-curricular lives are enriching and full.
