Animal Experience International (AEI) is a B Corporation with a mission to help animals around the globe by matching clients with animal-related volunteer opportunities at sanctuaries, hospitals and research projects.
Through their work as a wildlife veterinarian and as a volunteer coordinator for wildlife rehabilitation centres, Heather and Nora have come to understand the need for such an organization. People like you, from all walks of life, and from every country, are seeking animal-related experiences as volunteers. We are here to make sure you have a safe and rewarding journey.

Volunteer Support:
We discuss social responsibility and ethical travel with all our volunteers. And we visit all of our placement partners so we can be sure they are doing amazing work that is directly benefiting their community and the animals in their care. We give continuous support to our clients before they go away, offering them unlimited skype sessions, individual fundraising support, AEI written manuals and tuition paid for an online volunteering abroad course.
Volunteer Safety:
Each of our Placement Partners has established international volunteer programs, with excellent safety records. All clients are met at the airport by a representative from the organization, and taken directly to the placement. Continuous duty of care minimizes the risk and trouble in an unfamiliar country.
