We provide education and foster homes to children, at the moment our organisation works with 222 orphans with 51 of them in foster homes. We also support mothers who are coming from most remote and disconnected areas of the Eastern Region of Uganda.
Arc Charity Foundation so far runs three programs that include;
a) Educational Program
b) Girl Child Empowerment program
c) women livelihood program
Programs
1. Educational program; This was started with the aim of keeping children coming from poor communities in school, the program also works in training and supporting talents and skills. The program has two schools that the 222 children attend with aid and support from the organization.
2. Girl Child Empowerment Program; this program aims at availing the girls in the communities with the same opportunities that any girl child has like the right to Education, Menstrual health, and social awareness.
3. Women Livelihood Program; this program works in training young mothers with business skills such as crafting, necklace and bracelets, liquid soap making, and making African cloth wear. As of now, the program is working with 61 Young mothers across the Eastern Region and 2357 women who trained in the business for the past years. These women are also being educated about Family Planning and healthy living at our Center in Masese.
We provides meals and accommodation to our volunteers during their stay with us.
