In 2013, our mission expanded in both countries, and now also focuses on helping vulnerable children in our local neighborhoods who are highly susceptible to illness, hunger, lack of education, trafficking and exploitation due to extreme poverty.
Volunteering
Are you ready to have your life forever changed by blessing others? Our volunteers include individuals with special experience and training, such as teachers, counselors, and contractors, as well as those who just want to come to love our kids and help however they can. We have volunteer opportunities for ministry, tutoring, repair and construction, and help with day-to-day life. No matter what you do in life you are able to make an impact!
We will inquire with our in-country staff about current needs, and follow up with you. Hiring a translator, or having an advanced level of Spanish is necessary for most Nicaraguan applicants, while English is widely spoken in the Philippines, so no special language skills are necessary. To protect our children, applications, background checks and an interview are required for in-country service.
