Atlantis organizes cultural exchange programs in Norway for young foreigners who would like to work as working guests in agriculture or tourism, trainees in agriculture and au pairs. Norwegians can volunteer in Africa, Asia and Latin-America.
Atlantis Exchange is a foundation established by the Norwegian Youth Council in 1987. Our goal is to promote respect and understanding between cultures through youth exchange. We have specialized in long term work experience programs for people older than 18 years old.
Working guest, trainee and au pair
All programs are based on the idea of working for free accommodation, board and pocket money.
We require all participants to apply through one of our partner organizations, and to apply for our programs you have to contact one of our partner organizations in your home country. If there is no such organization in your home country, you are not able to apply for the program. We do not answer inquiries directly from applicants. All requests for information should be directed towards one of our partner organizations.
Volunteer work
Norwegians have the possibility to work as volunteers abroad in Africa, Asia and Latin-America through Atlantis. You can volunteer with children, women and elders, health and nutrition, animals and nature.
