Following the completion of a minimum working term of 6 months, applicants can then spend the rest of their time in Australia on their Working Holiday Visa either Au Pairing with a different family, joining another one of our Work and Travel programs or embarking on a magical journey across the stunning coast in a rented camper van.
Contrary to widespread belief, Au Pairs don’t take on the role of a nanny or a babysitter. Rather, they provide between 25-35 hours of childcare per week, and this may include some light household duties. Additionally, they’ll be provided with a full private room, full board and 2 days off per week with a weekly allowance. While our host families are situated all over Australia, our most popular destination is Sydney, followed by the outback. Whichever part of the country your relation is placed, they will gain a unique insight into real life down under!
