We started in 1991 and since then have been offering farm training to young people from all over the world who wish to work on sheep and cattle stations, equitation enterprises and large farms all over Australia. We have a data base of more than 2000 employers because they respect the training we provide as good to give their new workers a positive start. Jobs are guaranteed - we have never failed.
The training farm is in a 'blink and you will miss it' place in South East Queensland - but only two hours from the coast and Fraser Island and three hours from Brisbane.
Young people join us every Thursday where we meet them at Brisbane airport and take them to Noosa for four days to jet over jetlag and meet up to 20 new friends. While there we give them a briefing. On Monday we send a bus to Noosa to collect them and when they arrive we give them morning tea, the bank manager arrives to open their accounts and they get what they need in the way of work clothes from our farm shop.
During the week we teach them horse work, cattle work, sheep work, tractor driving and motorbike rinding, fencing, chain saw work, navigation and farm and outback safety. They received 3 or more job offers each and they choose between them. By Thursday they have made their decisions and the office works out the best way to travel to the job - on Friday evening after the big muster of cattle on horseback (and motorbikes) they leave to travel to their jobs.
We start courses every week of the year except for four weeks over Christmas and New Year.
