We promote sustained research processes on birds and other associated fauna and flora that support priority conservation actions. We support the empowerment of local communities in favor of the defense of nature and the generation of livelihoods compatible with conservation.
Aves y Conservación is the Ecuadorian Foundation for the Research and Conservation of Birds and their Habitats, a non-profit, apolitical non-governmental organization. Our NGO was created in 1986 by a group of ornithologists and biologists from the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador (PUCE).
