Hello Sri Lanka!!! Today, we'll be ushering you into your charming abode nestled in the lush countryside. Your coordinator, full of warmth, will greet you at the airport and guide you to your new dwelling. Greet your delightful roommates, and brace yourself for a culinary journey with scrumptious homemade Sri Lankan delicacies!
Day 2-6: Turtle Conservation
Location: Ambalangoda
Explore the pristine blue waters and white sands of Ambalangoda and take part in conserving sea turtles! We are located a few steps away from the Indian Ocean which is famous for the sea turtle nesting grounds. Many of the species are becoming extinct due to human impacts. You will be a part of the community involved in the conservation of these fascinating marine animals and their habitat.
Day 7: Choose Your Own Adventure!
Location: Ambalangoda
The weekend is your free time to explore or relax. We've prepped you with some local language and culinary know-how; the rest is up to you! Whether you fancy an adventure or a laid-back day, we're here to offer advice.
