Day 1: Welcome to your New Home

Prepare for a warm Tanzanian welcome! Upon landing, our coordinator will meet you and escort you to your accommodation, briefing you on the thrilling adventures ahead. A splendid start to your Tanzanian journey!
Day 2-6: Turtle Conservation
Location: Nungwi
Get involved and make a meaningful impact in the preservation of sea turtles. Your daily routine will consist of many tasks, including cleaning sea turtles, exchanging the water in basins, collecting seaweed, and performing maintenance and cleaning tasks. You'll learn about the different activities during the welcome meeting and have the opportunity to contribute to the yearly raising of over 150 sea turtles and the care of 30 larger turtles in the lagoon.
Day 7: Choose Your Own Adventure!
Location: Nungwi
The weekend is time for you to spread your wings a little, if you’re up for it. We’ve equipped you with some language basics, introduced you to the local cuisine…now lets see where that can get you! You’re free to organise any adventure you care to, or simply chill ahead of the volunteer work. We can offer advice on where to go, if you need it.
