Classes take place in “El Espacio” purpose built learning centre for languages. The building dates from around 1780, and has been at different times over its 240 year history, a luxury colonial Spanish house, a steel metal workshop during WW2 and the post revolutionary home for patriot families. It has now been lovingly restored over a period of more than 3 years to provide a learning centre in the middle of one of the most authentic neighbourhoods in Cuba
Our teachers are simply some of the best that exist in Cuba and probably the region. All of our professors have held university faculty teaching positions hold bacherlors or masters degrees in linguistics from renowned universities. Most importantly however is that Barcley teachers have many have masters or other advanced degrees. In addition, all our staff have a passion for learning and a passion for fun…which at the end of the day is the most important thing!
