The school offers a variety of English courses, from General English to preparation for internationally-recognized exams such as IELTS, TOEFL or the Cambridge FCE and CAE. With our small classes (maximum eight students, average class size five students) we offer personal attention and plenty of participation in classroom activities.
The school prepares students for a variety of English exams and offers English for Aviation to prospective pilots. It has recently developed an English exam preparation course specifically for private pilots about to write their commercial pilots exams.
With small classes (maximum eight students), enthusiastic, qualified & experienced teachers, Bay Language offers a superior learning experience in the heart of some of the best (and malaria-free) wildlife-viewing areas in South Africa. Special rates apply for long-term students, and a range of activities, including golf, diving and surfing, are available.
BLI also offers an excellent four week, 120 hour TEFL course, which focuses on the skills needed to teach English in a multicultural and multilingual world. It is a practical, hands-on and interactive course which brings out the best in future English teachers.
