The institution's fully-equipped campus is set on the hillside overlooking the beaches of Ipanema and Leblon in the famous Zona sul part of the city.
Lessons are open to all levels of students, from beginner to advanced. Even those who are just visiting the city can take short classes to learn the basics of the romance language. All classes are fun and interactive and participants are also taught the essential "carioca" slang, which can be used for daily conversations.
Vidigal radiates a bohemian atmosphere with plenty of bars, restaurants and traditional Brazilian "baile" parties as well as the famous "dois irmaos" trail that leads to the top of the mountain with one of the cities most incredible views.
Our volunteers teach English to people within the community who would otherwise not be able to afford classes elsewhere in the city.
