Since inception, in 2007, our mission has been to create memorable travel experiences for our clients, while promoting volunteer opportunities that improve the lives of Africans and the environment. 1% of profits are donated to an African cause. We strive to give you unique and memorable adventures.
Originally specializing in Africa, we decided to expand the business to include the rest of the world in our tours, since we were constantly being asked about other countries, and in order to provide affordable and memorable tours to solo travellers. Half of our clients have been single women travelling solo, and we want to provide everything our clients ask for.
Volunteer adventure packages in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Ecuador are customized and include accommodations, meals, transport and donations. Rediscover yourself, and fulfill your dream of making a meaningful contribution. Adventures designed with flexibility in mind.
Climb Kilimanjaro, ride a mokoro in Botswana, track mountain gorillas in Uganda, learn to dance the salsa in Cuba, walk the Lycian Way in Turkey, sail the Norwegian fjords, learn to cook in Thailand. If you have something in mind, and don’t see it here, please ask, because we want to help you realize your dream vacation.
Volunteer
Volunteer adventure packages and safari in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania including accommodations, meals, and donations - prices start at $280 US per week!
How volunteers can get involved:
- Helping to build schools
- Orphanages – assist with gardening, cleaning, or providing basic care to orphaned and abandoned children
- Teaching – assist with educational training or share any skill
- Counselling in community development projects
The cost of your volunteer package will include a donation paid directly to the organization you will be working for. All charities need funding and many depend on the generosity of volunteers. We are not affiliated with charities that ask for exorbitant amounts of money; however, we do wish to provide some support. All of the organizations we align with are very needy. You may do some additional fund-raising before you begin your adventure, so that you can really make a difference.
Where do your donation dollars go?
- $10 US will feed a child for 1 month
- $20 will pay the wage of a tradesman for one week
- $50 will pay school fees for a secondary student for 1 term
- $160 buys a 1,000 litre water catchment tank
- $2,000 will refurbish a 2 classroom primary school block
Food and Accommodation
Accommodation will vary widely, from living on-site right up to 5 star hotels. It just depends on your choice. Airport transfers and some meals are included; daily private transport and excursions can also be arranged. Your package can be easily customized; the important thing is that you are giving of yourself to people who truly are in need.
Helping with community development is so worthwhile and you will come away with a sense of satisfaction for having contributed. Whether you are helping to build schools, teaching, or working at an orphanage, sharing your skills allows you to give something back while you rediscover yourself. Volunteer in Kenya, Tanzania or Uganda for a day, a year, or somewhere in between.
