Helping out at one of our events is a really fun way to volunteer. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the function goes smoothly, meet loads of other volunteers (and the odd celebrity!) and get first hand experience of charity event management. And of course, you'll also get to take part and enjoy the event yourself!

Roles can vary depending on the type of event, but typical tasks include welcoming guests, selling raffle tickets, looking after VIPs and making sure that The Big Issue Foundation is represented in the best possible light.

We currently only require volunteers in the London, Bournemouth, Bristol, Birmingham and Norwich areas. If you live in or around these areas please contact volunteering@bigissue.com
