Responsibilities of International Instructor include preparing and conducting youth camps and carrying out ad-hoc and miscellaneous tasks, such as maintaining equipment and cleaning campsites.
International instructors are required to work 10 days a month, although there are months when they are required to work more these 10 days. During free time, instructors can pursue their own interests. Schedules will be planned together with instructors and priority must be given to fulfilling responsibilities. A camp requires long hours of commitment.
A typical camp beings at 7AM and can last till 11PM. Camps often include overnight stay and ranges from a two-day, one-night program to a three-day, two-night program. Camp participants are usually 6-20 years old, majority of whom are 14 and 16 years old.
To be eligible for this programme, you will need to be eligible for the Work Holiday Pass.
