Our Outdoor Education programs are solely based on experiential learning tecniques, We implement education in a natural environment and in direct contact with mother nature. Our team as well as our participants come from a wide array of countries, creating a fantastic international atmosphere. We are proud of our high return rate of campers & staff (who most of them were campers not so long ago).
With fifteen years of experience, we have consolidated ourselves as leaders within the European Outdoor Education field. Camp Europe has been constantly improving its foundations in order to expand the reach of its educational projects aimed at diverse age ranges. Starting from pure recreational programs, going to Sport Oriented activities, Leadership, Team building and Role Model fostering dynamics, onto Staff Summer Placements, a 3 month long Internship and crowning it all with an Outdoor Education Diploma Certificate.
Work for Us
Camp Europe extends the opportunity to young adults to become part of our team and to take part in the implementation of our Outdoor Educational programs for a time length convenient for each individual. From a short 4-week period during the summer, for 3-months, or even up to a 6-month period.
There are diverse role positions available and a great diversity of placement campsites where our staff gets different opportunities. Either as a Camp Counselor, a Language Coach, a Group Leader, a Program Area Specialist or a Camp Director Assitant, there are placements available in Germany, Ireland, England, Spain & Austria.
All Placements that we offer are Stipend Paid. Camp Europe offers mainly four different type of placements, according to the program’s nature and length. Although must of our programs run through the summer months, (June, July & August); we also provide longer term placements, such as a Three-month Internship & a Six-month Outdoor Education Diploma.
All of these Experiential Learning Programs are provided along with extensive training sessions and include a weekly stipend. Camp Counsellor
If you are looking for an opportunity to become a role model - as a Camp Counselor or as a Language Coach- within a natural, fun and enriching camp environment, to get yourself immersed in an international atmosphere & a lay back ambiance; at the same time that you obtain intensive training, to later put what you learnt in practice, and also get to catch on a new & different language; this is a program for you. English Coach
If you are looking for an opportunity to teach English abroad- within a natural, fun and enriching summer course environment, Welcome to Camp Europe! We offer you an international atmosphere where you will obtain experience teaching, leading groups, running dynamics and providing entretaining tecniques for children and youth to practice their language skills while having fun.
Language Program Director
If you are looking for an opportunity to lead a group of english coaches and run the language program of a Language Summer Camp - within a natural, fun and enriching atmosphere, Welcome to Camp Europe! We offer you an international placement where you will further expand you expertise leading and teaching, running a Language Program and providing support to other language coaches.
3-month Internship
Camp Europe offers a 3- month internship program (mid June to mid September) at its main camp sites located all over Germany. Interns get to live, learn and work in 2-3 different camp sites. Duties include supporting the set-up of several different summer camp programs & performing as a camp counselor or program area specialist. The main season is followed by Campsite´s take down and general follow-ups.
6-month Outdoor Education Diploma
Camp Europe offers a 6-month Outdoor Education Program Specialist Diploma by CA Academy, which also includes a Certification as High Ropes Course Instructor. This program runs from mid March to mid September, and it is open for Germans & international participants alike. The academy´s main camp site is located in northern Germany. Diploma participants get to live, learn and work on different camp sites. Duties include setting up the upcoming season, site maintenance & performing as head staff for visiting school groups during the spring time.
