For 90 years, Camp Westminster on Higgins Lake has been teaching and guiding children while providing important leadership opportunities along the way. In addition to our summer camps, our retreat options are perfect for family getaways, conferences, or any other group function.
Nowadays, it is not uncommon for children to become accustomed to an “everyday routine” and Camp Westminster is dedicated to showing them other facets of life experiences. Our ACA accredited, Christian summer camp and retreat gives your child the opportunity to experience an alternative experience with professional guidance from thoroughly interviewed, trained and experienced camp counselors.
Staff
The terrific staff members at Camp Westminster are one of the big reasons so many campers love to return year after year! Camp Westminster intentionally seeks a diverse range of summer staff from local churches, area colleges, camp alumni, and from around the world.
Through an intensive staff training, this group of individuals bonds and grows together to form a warm and welcoming community to any camper who comes to CW. We look for: enthusiasm; a strong work ethic; people who take initiative; individuals who LOVE children and youth so much that they are led to invest in a summer of ministry; and someone who desires to know God better and grow in their faith.
