More About the role: It takes a special kind of person to do this job. Those who are most successful in this role pay great attention to details and take pride in their work.
Job Duties:
• Move recreational vehicles around the yard and into the shop for service
• Maintain the lot and keep the building clean
• Clean the interior and exterior of the units
• Ensure units are organized in a presentable manner
• Perform unit inventory and update the lot map each week
• Inspect and report any vehicular damages
• Drive to pick up parts and deliver vehicles to appropriate departments after-sales, trade-ins, arrival, etc.
• Monitor vehicles in storage, watch for any damage that will adversely affect unit in outdoor climate and ensure vehicles are secure
• Maintain lot security and report any problems or crimes on the lot
• Take a lead role in snow removal and assist in taking recreational vehicles for external service
• Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required
Qualifications:
• Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driver’s abstract and be able to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Self-directed, motivated, proactive, and fiercely accountable
• 1-2 years lot attendant experience is an asset
• Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles
• Ability and willingness to learn and strong attention to detail
• Positive interpersonal skills, attitude, and energy
• Flexibility, adaptable and able to multitask
• Ability to work independently or within a team
• Familiarity with B and C Class RVs will be an asset
