CAPS (Conversation Assistant Programme for Schools) is a programme designed to place dynamic and creative native English speakers in Spanish schools as a Conversation Assistant (CA), in order to aid and improve teaching and student’s communication in English.

CAPS has been successfully running for more than eight years, and has established itself as a leader in the industry. Over 1800 Conversation Assistants have successfully completed the programme in more than 400 Spanish schools.

CAPS is organised by Home to Home, which is a renowned company in the field of education, and has over 20 years of experience in organising a wide range of educational programmes in English.

Job Description

The main role of the CA is focused on increasing student exposure to English through motivating and encouraging conversation practice. The goal is that students improve and become more confident in their English skills by practicing with a native English speaker.

What We Offer

No joining/administration fees with all details of your placement arranged and agreed with you before arrival. Only after official acceptance will you be asked to provide a clear Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check and a small placement holding deposit which is returned upon arrival.
A monthly student grant of 315€ (CAPS Programme) or 465€ (CAPS PLUS Programme) & host family accommodation.
Free certified (6 ECTS credits*) TEFL (Teaching English as a foreign language) training course, provided by an internationally recognised Spanish university.
