Casa do Caminho gets its strength from its team of international and local volunteers, who work in a wide range of different projects. The people who work with us are selected and maintained in our team based on the dedication, love, passion, maturity, and abilities they display.
Become a Volunteer
The Volunteering Program offered by Casa do Caminho is completely free. Volunteers receive food, housing, and an introductory briefing when they arrive. Volunteering at Casa do Caminho is a unique cultural experience: you will have the opportunity to work with a Brazilian and International team, and have the opportunity of creating your own projects.
We look for enthusiastic volunteers that like to work with and around children and volunteering with us is 100% free!
Our Mission
- To shelter and protect children and adolescents from different family backgrounds and vulnerable situations.
- To give priority to children's education and helping them prepare for re-integration into a family situation.
- To improve adolescents' employment potential.
- To develop projects promoting education, health, sports, culture and leisure pursuits.
