CET was established in Moscow in 1996 by Cambridge Education & Training UK Ltd of Cambridge, UK. The company also maintained a representative office in Moscow.
CET is conscious that students invest both valuable time and money into their education, and we always endeavoured to provide results to match this investment. As such, our philosophy was always to put quality first and to maintain a consistently high standard of teaching.
Our atmosphere was highly professional, but relaxed. We were concerned with specific requirements and problems of individual students and our administrative staff and teachers were always willing to discuss and resolve individual problems. School courses were part of a progressive programme and each course is followed by an internal test to measure student progress.
Reports to parents were prepared for all students on Children's and Young Learner courses and where necessary parents are invited to attend a meeting with the teacher or the Director of Studies. The school did not tolerate, and as a result has never suffered from, disciplinary problems in its Young Learner classes.
Examination courses (Cambridge English: Young Learners, Key, Preliminary, First, Advanced, Proficiency and IELTS ) were available to our students. We arranged for exams to be taken either in Russia or in the UK, through our partner, Cambridge Academy of English who also provides residential courses for any of our students who would like to study in the UK during the summer months or at other times
Our reputation was important to us. It was built on the satisfaction and success of our students.
Location
We were in a large, well-established and successful school operating in Western Siberia, Russian Federation. Our students came from all ages and backgrounds, from pre-school starter classes, to corporate English training, to adults who need English for holidays abroad! We were also a certified Cambridge English testing centre, and prepare students to take these exams each year.
