The practicum begins on the first day of the course, and on this day you will be given the opportunity to observe and participate as the practicum trainer teaches the class. For the following day, the TEFL trainees will teach portions of the class as assigned by the practicum trainer.
By the third day of the course, the TEFL trainees will be teaching the practicum from lesson plans they have prepared on their own. We spend two hours per day in practice teaching, allowing each trainee the opportunity to teach a minimum of six classroom hours.
