We are a Not For Profit Community Based Organization empowering children, youth and women of Nairobi slums Educationally, Socially and Economically so that they break the cycle of poverty.
CRESS KENYA was started in 2011, as a community based organization with a mission of empowering children, women and youth in the slums of Nairobi Kenya. Since its inception, CRESS has helped 5000 vulnerable children secure basic education, majority whom are girls, renovated 10 schools and empowered 200 women through small businesses. There are other achievements which have not been mentioned. In a short period of time, CRESS has done what big organizations have failed to do in many years.
We sponsor needy students, empower women and youth through small businesses and renovate poor classrooms for better learning atmosphere. CRESS work with community leaders, youth and school heads to make their projects succesful.

Volunteer Support:
We are seeking for financial or material support in order for us to set up a vocational training center for 500 youths in slums. We need computers, sewing machines, carpentry tools and hairdressing tools for this dream to be realized. The project shall benefit youth from Mathare, Korogocho and Kibera slums of Nairobi Kenya. Donations can be made upon inquiry through the email address given.
Volunteers who are qualified in the relevant fields mentioned above shall act as trainers.
