Free dental care to Jerusalem's indigent children, regardless of race or religion. The only clinic providing totally free oral health care and education, from age 5 to 18, over 15,000 treatments anually. Founded in 1980, the longest running clinic of its kind in Israel

Volnteering at DVI's Trudi Birger Dental Clinic is a unique and rewarding experience. During your time at DVI, you are awarded the opportunity to:

* Help the underprivileged children of Jerusalem at the same time as having a holiday
* Meet and work with professional dentists from around the world.
* Experience ‘real’ Israel by living in one of our local apartments

Licensed dentists can volunteer for periods of 1-4 weeks under a special permit from the Health Ministry. For the duration of the volunteer period, the dentist and family is offered one of our apartments in Jerusalem.
