The region of Cuzco is beautiful, magical and mysterious. As well as fascinating Inca constructions such as the Saqsaywaman, Cusco offers magnificent views, both rural and urban, of rolling hills and colonial buildings. The Spanish school in Cusco comprises 25 classrooms as well as a sun terrace. It is ideally positioned, just a short walk away from the town square. Lessons run on weekdays from 8 o’clock in the morning to 8 o’clock at night. Students are encouraged to design their own timetable to suit their personal lifestyles.

The school in Cusco only employs teachers that are native speakers of the Spanish language, most of whom also have a second or third European language as well. As well as imparting knowledge about the language itself, teachers are dedicated to educating their students about Peruvian customs and culture as well.

 

Courses Available

  • Intensive Spanish Course: 20 hours worth of intense language lessons per week. This is the fast track route to learning Spanish. In small groups, you will discuss interesting subject matter to improve fluency and gain confidence. 
  • One to One Spanish Course: If intensive learning isn’t for you and you’d rather go at your own pace, then you should opt for One-to-One. Individual tuition means that classes will be tailored to your specific needs.

 

Accommodation

  • Host Family: if you choose this option then you will be living with a local family: all your cooking and cleaning will be done for you. This is a good option for those moving away from home for the first time, or those that like their own space. All host families have a large guest bedroom and a garden. 
  • Student Housing: if you choose this option, you will have a spacious bedroom to yourself. The kitchen, bathroom and lounge areas are shared though but this is a good chance to meet people. This accommodation is half-board meaning that breakfast plus one other main meal is included in the price. Student residences are located within the same complex as the school so there is no excuse for being late!
