We give you the tools to build it and the venue to get it started. Our participants, from organizations to families to schools, have the opportunity to set in motion a new way to communicate, relate and thrive well into the future.
Our retreats run from 3 days to 3 weeks and are created with your specific goals in mind. From the wake-up bell to the last crackling embers of the campfire, every activity is designed to challenge the participant to think critically about their role as a member of a community. You will train a horse as an exercise in communication. You will share your hopes and fears as an exercise in courage and trust. You will attend activities & workshops that push your mind and body to the limit. You will leave Driftwood, armed with the language of leadership, inclusiveness and selflessness.
Driftwood is situated on 153 acres in Northfield, New Hampshire just south of the White Mountains! During the Winter months, Driftwood operates as a full service equine trainnig facility, equiped with 23 modern stalls, a 70 x 140 indoor, a 100 x 200 out door and 120 acres of riding trails.
During the Spring, Summer and Fall, Driftwood transforms (itself) into an adventure learning center! Programs include:
