Volunteer Opportunities:
- Learn to train horses using natural horsemanship
- Grooming, feeding and maintenance
- Assisting with guided trail rides
- Help with riding lessons and day camps
- Saddle and equipment maintenance
- Paddock and arena clean up
- Plenty of riding time
Requirements:
- Anyone interested in working with horses can apply. However, we strongly encourage those volunteers who have experience.
- Be prepared for a challenge.
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm and a "willing to learn" is a must!
Availability:
- Eden Ranch operates year round.
- Due to high demand in particular seasons please check with us for availablity.
Cost:
- $195 USD contribution per week.
- All expenses other than room and board will be out of pocket.
- Pick-up and drop off to Puerto Plata airport (POP) available at an additional cost.
Accomodation:
Private, fully furnished cottage with full bathroom, kitchenette/ living area, utilities and wireless internet.
Food:
All meals are homecooked and included. We use as many vegetables from our own organic gardens as we can. There are also several different tropical fruit trees around the property to snack on (when in season).
