EduCARE’s mission is to contribute towards more productive and efficient development and utilization of all available resources in society as well as workplace for creating better living environments. Focused on university students and young professionals, this volunteer – internship program (minimum duration – 12-weeks) has helped many international and national students and professionals develop relevant career and international work experience. We have hosted more than 500 international volunteer – interns in the past one decade.
Positions are available in our affiliated organisations and institutions in various areas such as –
- rural development
- environmental conservation
- organic farming
- girls and women empowerment
- slums intervention and development
- micro-finance for integrated community development
- teaching English and other foreign languages
- teaching children through play activities
- waste management and sanitation
The internship work duration may be customized to vary from 12-weeks to 12-months. There is no institutional internship costs. Irrespective of the duration, whether for 12-weeks or 12-months, the project-site accommodations, internet communications, transport is FREE. You only have to just pay one time standard nominal visa documentation and legal insurance / support fee.
There is no hosting or facilitation fee charged for volunteer-internship at EduCARE India. However, every intern has to pay a one off standard fee of $570 USD for application process, visa documentation, legal retainer fees and training resources and certification fee. The fee is a one-time only payment for your internship before we send the visa documents when the selection is confirmed as an intern. It remains the same no matter if your intended internship stay is 3 months or 12 months. No other fee is charged.
