We placed volunteers at a school called Nueva Generación. It is a small private primary school in the district of Villa el Salvador, the most underdeveloped and heavily populated district of Lima. There are 5-10 children per class. It offers a safer place of study and a better quality education than the state schools in the area, and only charges the families a minimal fee to maintain the running of the school.
