EntreMundos works as a capacity building NGO, providing a variety of services to our roughly 200 contact organizations here in Guatemala.

One of these services is a volunteer programme: we offer volunteer placements with over 120 projects and NGOs that are looking for volunteers for their projects. The work can include children, construction, women, education, agriculture, public health, the environment, micro-credit, and community development, among many others fields - depending on the volunteer´s skills, experience, and Spanish level. However, because of the breadth of the projects with which we work, we can find a volunteer opportunity for any time commitment (one day to one year), Spanish ability (basic to advanced), and interests, where your help can be maximally effective.

To help volunteers find the perfect volunteer opportunity, we have three services:

1) An online database of over 100 volunteer opportunities, complete with contact details, that can be found at http://www.entremundos.org/Projects/db/FindListings.php.

2) An in person, personal consultation and placement service at our office in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, for a donation of 25Q (3$).

3) A pre-departure, personalized and complete placement service with an organization to suit your time commitment and interests, for 50$.

We also offer a specific set of internships for individuals with specialized skill-sets.
